PSP to get ColorWare Treatment
ColorWare, the professional company that has the expertise to spruce up just about any device with a new shade of color will soon extend its services to include Sony’s PSP handheld gaming console. April 14th will be the date when this new service is official, with no information on pricing. I suspect that it will probably be somewhere in the neighborhood of the DS Lite’s price range where coloring it is concerned. What are some of the wacky shades that you want to see your PSP come in? Keyboard PC has a new take on the all-in-one concept

When you think of an all-in-one PC, I would venture to guess that the first image that pops in your head would be that of an iMac. If not specifically Apple’s branded machine, then one similar, which featured all of the main components housed in the monitor. Since you’re always going to need a monitor, it seems like the perfect setup. All you need is a keyboard and mouse and you’re all set. Have you ever considered getting a computer that’s built into your keyboard? I can see why someone would think to pack a PC inside the keyboard, as someday you may want to upgrade your monitor. You won’t be able to do that without getting an entirely new system. (Read the full post about ‘Keyboard PC has a new take on the all-in-one concept’…)

Mozilla CEO criticizes Apple over Software Update practices

Written by admin on Tuesday, March 25th, 2008 in gadgets.

John Lilly, CEO of Mozilla, has posted an entry on his blog criticizing Apple for adding the Safari Web browser as a default download when updating iTunes.

Lilly has stressed that the criticism has nothing to do with the Safari Web browser, but he believes it “undermines the trust relationship great companies have with their customers.”

The specific problem he is talking about happens when iTunes checks for updates. If an update is found, then the Apple Software Update window pops up on screen listing the update. However, instead of just listing the iTunes update, the Safari Web browser is listed and by default ticked for download.

E-Ink Display Watch

E-Ink Display Watch

I like the idea of electronic ink, as it will definitely help us reduce the use of paper indiscriminately. The technology is still in its infancy though, so it might be a while before it really takes off but at least we can see it in action in the E-Ink Display Watch now. The E Ink technology used in this watch depicts digital time with the look of electronic paper and can be read accurately and instantly from any angle – vastly improving on dull liquid crystal displays (LCDs) that typify previous digital watches. The customizable dial allows you to select different styles, from the precise detail of full numerals and indices to the simplicity of no markings all. Internet FTW! BMW buyer getting M3 thanks to pressure from web
We’re betting M3post.com forum member, dooma350, had no idea that his call for help with a shady transaction on eBay Motors would become what it did. After winning a new BMW M3 Sedan on the online auction site from BMW of Lincoln, Nebraska, the dealership refused to sell the car despite there being no reserve price, claiming the auction was a “mistake”. dooma350’s single post for help on a forum led to an internet-based outcry on his behalf, with lawyers offering free advice, other websites (like ours) promoting his cause, local news organizations getting in touch, etc. (Read the full post about ‘Internet FTW! Blaupunkt’s new TravelPilot lineup is rather blah
Posted Mar 25th 2008 9:59AM by Paul MillerFiled under: GPS There’s nothing wrong at all with Blaupunkt’s new TravelPilot 100, 200 and 300, and given the company’s missteps in the past, these new devices are actually quite the relief. That said, there’s nothing too fancy going on either. The TravelPilot 100 and 200 sport 3.5-inch QVGA screens, while the 300 does 4.3-inches at 480 x 272. All three are running Windows CE 5.0, the 200 and 300 include traffic receivers, and the 300 includes Bluetooth and is the only one with maps for all of Western Europe.
