Stalker Airship Vehicle Concept

Stalker Airship Vehicle Concept
While it is chilling to note that our world has turned into a post-apocalyptic environment sometime in the 22nd century (no thanks to nuclear weapons), there is a tinge of positiveness with the vision of the Stalker airship vehicles that roam the earth. These great ships will carry humans to explore protected areas around the world, and will do so in conditions that won’t make it blow up accidentally anytime soon unlike the Hindenburg. The shape doesn’t look too convenient for efficient flight though, but then again concept stretch beyond conventional imagination. (Read the full post about ‘Stalker Airship Vehicle Concept’…)

DXG-569V HD Digital Video Camera

DXG-569V HD Digital Video Camera
The other day, I reported on the DXG-567V HD Camcorder, and since then, the DXG company has been nice enough to send me that camcorder and another HD Camcorder model, the DXG-569V. This video for the 569V is HD, up to 1280 x 720, at 30fps. The 569V has a 5MP CMOS sensor, and can take still pictures as well as video. There is about 8M of memory, and it will support high capacity SD cards. The camera worked right out of the box, and requires 3AAA batteries. DXG had the good foresight to include a charger with 4 AAA rechargeables. The controls felt very instinctive, and I hardly had to consult the instruction booklet to start filming. The DXG-569V doesn’t have the ipod-ish design of the 567V, and that works to its advantage. (Read the full post about ‘DXG-569V HD Digital Video Camera’…)

Hello Kitty anti-virus software
Oh, why the heck not? Hello Kitty, entrepreneurial feline that she is, has already slapped her face, stamped her paw, and dipped her tail into every other product in the world. It was really only a matter of time before she went to computer medical school and emerged, stethoscope in tow, with her degree in anti-viral studies. The anti-virus software is only available in China at the moment, but that doesn’t sadden me at all. Hello Kitty is a fictional kitten, for heaven’s sake! What’s she going to do, apply bow-bedecked bandages to my laptop’s boo-boos? Via Shiny Shiny. (Read the full post about ‘Hello Kitty anti-virus software’…)

Sony Ericsson K660i Review - Trusted Reviews

Sony Ericsson K660i Review - Trusted Reviews
Trusted Reviews has a review of the Sony Ericsson K660i and writes, “There is a camera which shoots stills at 2-megapixels and lacks auto focus or flash. It is definitely not one of Sony Ericsson’s better offerings and produced nothing I’d really be happy to do much with apart from look at on the phone itself or upload to the Internet…When it comes down to brass tacks, all that really marks the mid-range K660i out from other mid-range Sony Ericsson handsets is the quick access web buttons on the front fascia. And if you fancy 3 as your network then the distinctive colour scheme on offer is different too.” Read more about the Sony Ericsson K660i.
