Voice dialing over Bluetooth coming soon for the Treo 800w
A nice additional feature will soon be made available for Treo 800w owners, the ability to voice dial over your Bluetooth connection. Sadly this feature just did not make the cut before the official announcement, this update will allow users to speak commands over their headset and also hear reminders and feedback from the running programs. A specific date has not yet been announced, however based on a recently posted page on the Palm website, it will be in the “coming days.” Read [Palm] Via [TreoCentral] Keep up with the latest gadget goodness! - Subscribe to our feed → (Read the full post about ‘Voice dialing over Bluetooth coming soon for the Treo 800w’…)

Fujitsu Siemens Amilo netbook gets captured on video

Fujitsu Siemens Amilo netbook gets captured on video
Just recently we showed off an image (pictured right) of what was reported to be the upcoming Amilo netbook from Fujitsu Siemens and it looks like it has since been caught on video. Overall the video is nothing overly exciting, it simply offers a quick overview, but still, it somehow seems a little nicer to see a video as opposed to just a picture. If nothing else this video certainly does show off the small size, at least when compared to the 17-inch notebook that its sitting on top of. The Amilo netbook is expected to be officially unveiled during IFA in Berlin this August and retail in the ballpark of €300 to €400 (around $475 to $635 US). WhiteKnightTwo to be unveiled on Monday, space to seem less far away
by Darren Murph, posted Jul 26th 2008 at 1:23PM Hold onto your dollar bills, y’all — the WhiteKnightTwo is set to be unveiled (and swooned over) on Monday. We knew the fabled space tourism vehicle was set to be unwrapped this month, but knowing that said event is merely hours away just gets our juices flowin’. Richard Branson and “other dignitaries” are preparing to officially launch the ship at the Mojave Air and Space Port in California (a short drive from Zzyzx, we hear), and we’re still being led to believe that test flights should begin as early as this fall. Stainless Steel Hose Nozzle - guaranteed not to break or leak

Stainless Steel Hose Nozzle - guaranteed not to break or leak
I don’t know why, but I love hose nozzles, maybe not so much for the device itself, but b/c I get to play with water! Probably goes back to being a kid. After all, what kid do you know doesn’t like splashing around or squirting someone else, and it just gets better with a high-powered nozzle! This nozzle has 5 spray settings, and a 2-way shut-off. It’s heavy-duty, and is guaranteed for life. It’s made with stainless steel, fiberglass, brass threads and has a comfort-grip of santoprene rubber. Summer is here, and you need one of these to replace that leaking, clunky garden hose nozzle you have now. Gimme! Apple admits to lost MobileMe messages, bad karma
by Thomas Ricker, posted Jul 26th 2008 at 11:44AMApple’s Push-like MobileMe launch has been such a debacle that they’re now in damage control mode. As a result, some poor soul has been tasked by Steve Jobs to post status updates “every other day or so.” The first update is already revealing: Last Friday, 1% of MobileMe subscribers were affected by a “serious problem” with one of Apple’s mail servers Limited web access has been restored to those accounts but full access won’t be sorted until next week Of these 1%, Apple admits to losing “approximately 10%” of the messages received between July 16 and July 18 For the rest of you MobileMe subscribers, Apple has added server capacity, tuned the software to scale better, and fixed over 70 bugs to date. Fujitsu’s new Lifebook U2010 spotted somewhere in Vietnam
It seems like Fujitsu is prepping a new mini laptop/tablet PC called the Lifebook U2010. Don’t be confused by the model name though as it certainly is different from the Lifebook T2010 which was previously announced by Fujitsu. For one the U2010 sports a 5.6-inch 1024×768 display while the T2010 has a full 12.1-inch LED display. The U2010 also features a 1.6GHz or 1.8GHz Intel Atom processor, a 80GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, a 3G radio, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. We don’t know about you, but those features are certainly top-notch for a tablet pc as small as the LifeBook U2010, hence it is expected to hit the streets with a retail of around $1300. Brando’s Solar Mini Clip Fan ruins your shot at picking up friends
by Darren Murph, posted Jul 26th 2008 at 3:36AM Unless you’re strolling through Disneyland (or Dollywood, we suppose), we can’t imagine anyone not giving you an awkward stare when you approach them with this on. Brando has triumphed once more by offering up the Solar Mini Clip Fan, which does a remarkable job of explaining itself. For those who can’t understand what’s going on here, it goes like this: clip on the fan, get out in the sun, experience a mild breeze on your brow and enjoy the solitariness.
